Create a little excitement on some rapids or take a quiet paddle along one of the many rivers and lakes available in our lovely forests. We have 3 single kayaks and one tandum kayak available for rent . $25/Day
The Mighty Flambeau River in Park Falls WI
Of the many lakes and rivers in “our neck of the woods” the famous Flambeau River offers the most diversity and beauty for kayaking.
It has 2 branches: larger North Fork which runs thru Park Falls and smaller South Fork running thru Fifield. Above is the head waters of the South Fork at Round Lake.
Both offer beautiful scenery, rapids of varying sizes, wildlife, and plenty of fun!!

It’s a little known fact our local area has a number of beautiful water falls of all sizes and shapes. The lion’s share of falls is north of Park Falls in Iron and Ashland Counties. Access varies from just off the road to a challenging hike thru the woods making them appealing to all outdoor enthusiasts.

You can’t beat snow shoeing to get a close up view of nature in the winter. It’s an easy way to enjoy all the natural beauty of the Northwoods. There’s several groomed trails in the area including the Round Lake Logging Dam Trail which runs over the S Fork.
